AKIPRESS.COM - 5 small hydropower plants have been built in Kyrgyzstan for the last 4 years, said Head of the National Energy Holding Aitmamat Nazarov in response to MP Natalya Nikitenko's question.
Since Soviet period, Kyrgyzstan has 9 small hydropower plants.
Domestic investors have been increasingly interested in the construction of small hydropower plants lately, he noted.
