Kyrgyzstan joins Global Climate Mobilization Week

Bishkek, Sept. 13, 2019 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan will host events within the framework of the Global Climate Mobilization Week, the Alliance for Sustainable Development told.
Every year in September, campaigns and actions are taken around the world to take measures to protect the planet. This time, from September 20 to 27, residents of 150 countries will unite in protest against new oil pipelines, chemical plants, and mining companies that damage the climate.
"As responsible citizens of Kyrgyzstan, we also join the campaign to protect the climate and hold a series of events. We strive to increase public awareness of the threats to our global climate, to demonstrate some of the solutions, as well as provide an opportunity for everyone to join and contribute," the organizers said.
