AKIPRESS.COM - The sum for duty free delivery of goods from online stores such as AliExpress, eBay and others will be decreased from 500 euros to 200 euros, the State Customs Duty of Kyrgyzstan said. The decrease will come into force from 1 January 2020.
Since early 2019, it is possible to deliver personal use only goods weighing less than 31 kg and totaling 500 euros a month without having to pay any duties to the state. If the total price of goods exceeds 500 euros, an individual must pay 30% of the value of the goods, but not less than 4 euros per 1 kg.
From January 1, 2020, the maximum price of goods for duty-free delivery is reduced from 500 euros to 200 euros for goods weighing up to 31 kg a month. If the price of goods exceeds 200 euros, the individual will have to pay 15% of the value of the goods, but not less than 2 euros per kg.
"The decision to reduce the maximum price of duty-free delivery of goods from online stores was made on December 20, 2017 by all members of the EAEU at the EEC Council," the statement said.
