AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakh seismologists registered an earthquake with the epicenter 395 km south to the city of Almaty on September 15, Sputnik Kazakhstan reports.
The 10-magnitude quake was reported at 3:44 am local time.
Three major jolts were registered in China on September 15. Two of them occured not far from each other with the 20-minute difference.
At 10:34 pm Nur-Sultan time, 10.5-magnitude earthquake jolted 595 km north-east of Almaty on the territory of China, on the border of Ili Kazakh and Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefectures.
At 10:13 pm Nur-Sultan time, another earthquake was registered 603 km north-east of Almaty on the territory of China at the same district.
The third quake occurred at 4:12 pm Nur-Sultan time in another district of China.
The jolt was centered 308 km south-east of Almaty.
