Bishkek, Sept. 17, 2019. / Kabar /. An exhibition dedicated to the International Day of Peace entitled "Fighting Climate Change for the Sake of Peace" will be opned on Sept. 19 at the Museum of Fine Arts in Bishkek.
According to the press service of the museum, every year on Sept. 21, the international community celebrates International Peace Day.
The theme for 2019 is "Fighting Climate Change for the Sake of Peace." This slogan emphasizes the importance of combating climate change as a way to preserve and maintain peace on the planet.
Within the framework of International Peace Day, in implementation of the Livadia Message, the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Bishkek, the Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots of Kyrgyzstan will hold an art decorative and applied exhibition.
The exhibition will present unique original works of the Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic Vladimir Gorovoy, who created an amazing technique of intarsia.
Now Gorovoy’s works adorn the Ala-Archa residence, are in museums in Germany and China, in the Irkutsk Art Museum, Odessa Art Gallery, in private collections in Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, the presidents of Russia, Austria, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan have his works.
