People rally outside Parliament building in Bishkek demanding resolution of Kyrgyz-Tajik border issue

AKIPRESS.COM - Around 40 people rally outside Parliament building in Bishkek. They demand to resolve the Kyrgyz-Tajik border problem. The people said they are holding a peaceful rally. They include natives of the villages of Leilek district of Batken region bordering with Tajikistan.
Several people were detained.
The Kyrgyz-Tajik border crisis evolved on September 16. The Kyrgyz authorities blamed Tajik border guards for opening fire first. One Kyrgyz border guard was killed and 13 were injured, including 7 servicemen and 6 civilians of Kyrgyzstan. Two of them remain in serious condition. 11 people will be transported by military transport aircraft to Bishkek.
