Bishkek discusses new digitalization opportunities for citizens and businesses

Bishkek, Sept. 17, 2019. / Kabar /. The forum devoted to digitalization is being held in Bishkek.
The participants discuss the creation of a public platform where the government, business and civil society will be able to discuss the challenges of digital transformation and new opportunities for citizens and businesses, the realization of their rights through digital tools.
Chairman of the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications of Kyrgyzstan Dastan Dogoev told the forum participants about the work that the state is conducting. In particular, he presented the Sanarip Kyrgyzstan projects and the Tunduk interdepartmental system.
"Within the framework of the presidential decree on the creation of the Digital Kyrgyzstan project, the State Committee is working to provide digital access services for every citizen. One of the first services that was implemented as part of this project was payment for transport. Over the first 20 days since its launch, this service was used by 30 thousand citizens, and the total amount that was paid amounted to more than KGS 3.5 million," Dogoyev said.
The event is supported by the OSCE and the Soros Foundation.
The head of the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications noted that another 25 services are planned to be launched this month. In general, it is planned to launch 189 services by the end of the year.
