UAE interested in developing multilateral cooperation with Tajikistan

AKIPRESS.COM - The Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Tajikistan Jamshed Jumakhonzoda met with the second Deputy Chairman of the CCI of Sharjah Valid Abdulrahman Bakhatir and CEO Mohamed Ahmed Amin Alavadi in the Emirate of Sharjah, Khovar reports.
The meeting focused on establishing multifaceted trade and economic relations between Tajikistan and the Emirate of Sharjah.
"Our main task is to support Tajikistan's business community and Sharjah in entering new markets for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation," said Bakhatir, emphasizing the willingness to provide the necessary support for the participation of the Tajik business community in the exhibition and congress forums held by the Sharjah's CCI.
"In the future, priority issues are the export of organic agricultural products to the UAE market and the expansion of investment cooperation. Sharjah hosts international exhibitions and forums. By participating in such events, Tajik business circles can create new business relationships and penetrate Middle Eastern markets," noted Jumakhonzoda
The parties also paid special attention to strengthening and developing cooperation in various sectors of the Tajik economy, including the opportunity for representatives of the Arab private sector to participate in financing and hydropower projects, in the field of transport, construction of industrial and civil facilities, in agricultural processing projects, and in preparation of personnel, pharmaceutical industry, healthcare and tourism.
Bakhatir expressed confidence that the fruitful cooperation between the two countries will deepen.
