AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstan plans to supply its oil to Belarus and the text of the relevant agreement between the energy ministry of Kazakhstan and the Belarusian State Concern for Oil and Chemistry Belneftekhim is almost ready, Vice Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Aset Magauov told the briefing.
Just some issues that need achievement of a consensus remain, he noted.
The Vice Minister said Kazakhstan is actively discussing signing of the agreement on oil sale and oil products.
The Belarusian side is interested in Kazakhstan's oil, gas oils, masut that might be processed in the Belarusian oil refineries, Magauov said.
In May 2019, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that the country is holding talks with Kazakhstan on oil supplies. In July, the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan told that the bilateral agreement with the Belarusian side is being worked out.
