Defense Ministers of Kazakhstan, Russia discuss military cooperation

AKIPRESS.COM - Ministers of Defense of Kazakhstan and Russian on September 17 discussed development of cooperation of the military ministries of the countries, the press service of the Kazakh Ministry reported. During the talks in Moscow, they touched the issues of joint operations and military preparations, improvement of legal basis and military and technical cooperation.
"The armes forces of our countries are connected not only by friendship, but also strategic cooperation and allied relations," Kazakh Minister Nurlan Yermekbayev said.
According to him, these relations are supported at all levels both at bilateral and in the format of the CSTO, SCO and CIS.
In addition, the Russian Minister praised the team of Kazakhstan at the International Army Games.
According to Shoygu, cooperation of the countries in the sphere of military education is also successfully being developed.
