Bishkek, Sept.18, 2019. /Kabar/. Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to the OSCE Bakyt Dzhusupov participated in the regular OSCE Human Dimension Implementation Meeting (HDIM) in Warsaw, Poland, the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
Speaking at the opening of the session on Sept. 16 this year, Dzhusupov informed the participants of the Meeting about the measures, taken by the state to ensure and develop human rights and freedoms in Kyrgyzstan.
The permanent representative noted that Kyrgyzstan continues to develop dynamically the processes of formation of the parliamentary form of government, democratic infrastructure, bringing the national legislation in line with the norms of international law and further implementation of reforms of the judicial and law enforcement systems.
It was stressed that international cooperation in the field of human rights should take into account national and regional specificities of development, respecting historical, cultural and religious peculiarities of the state.
On Sept. 17 this year, Bakyt Dzhusupov also held a meeting with Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Ingibjörg Gísladóttir, during which he expressed gratitude to the Office for its assistance and constructive cooperation.
The sides discussed joint plans for the implementation of relevant projects in Kyrgyzstan.
