NASA information center to be established in Kazakhstan

The Central Asian regional information center of NASA will be established in Kazakhstan, Trend reports with reference to the press office of Aerospace Committee of The Ministry of Defense and The Aerospace Industry of The Republic of Kazakhstan.
This was announced during the first international conference on water-energy security and the aerospace industry in Central Asia and Caucasus, which is being held in Kazakhstan’s capital Nur-Sultan.
"Only Kazakh experts will work in the Geo-Information Laboratory. NASA experts will conduct expertise and training programs, private companies will be able to order services there, said Director of Agro Technological Hub, Marat Beksultanov.
Furthermore, during the conference, topical issues of the agrotechnological complex development of Kazakhstan and the USA were also discussed.
At the end of the forum, a memorandum of cooperation between the Astana Hub and the Asian Hub was signed. As part of the signing, the partners will conduct joint research in the area of agriculture.
