Jeenbekov to meet with Putin in Orenburg as part of military exercises

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on September 20 in the Donguz testing ground in Orenburg, Russia which is set to host the Center-2019 strategic command-staff drills, Kremlin said.
The exercises will be attended by military contingents of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, India, China and Pakistan.
Center-2019 drills kicked off on September 16 and will run until September 21. A part of the drills is taking place in Edelveis testing group of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan in Balykchy, Issyk-Kul region.
Almost 130 thousand servicemen from 7 countries, more than 20 thousand units of military equipment, about 600 aircrafts are involved in the exercises.
