Solemn closing ceremony of First National Nomad Games-photo report

Bishkek, Sept.22, 2019. /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov participated in the closing ceremony of the First National Nomad Games, held at the Manas-Ordo Kyrgyz National Historic and Cultural Complex in Talas Oblast.
In his speech, the Kyrgyz leader noted the Nomad Games are renewing and continuing the historical tradition, aimed at demonstration of the unity of the Kyrgyz people.
The ceremony features a theatrical performance, based on the Manas epic, a parade of athletes and cultural representatives from all oblasts of the country, as well as a concert program. Relay of holding the National Nomad Games in 2021 was handed over to Osh Oblast.
Note that, within the framework of the National Nomad Games in Talas Oblast, sports competitions in 8 national kinds of sports started on Sept. 16, cultural events on Sept. 19. The final celebration was held on Sept. 21.
