President Tokayev arrives in New York

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on Monday arrived in New York, Khabar TV channel reported. The head of state will participate in the 74th session of the UN General Assembly in the U.S. His trip also envisages meetings with foreign colleagues and business representatives.
Tokayev has announced about his visit to the U.S. in the article of the American newspaper The Hill, where the President says that one of the goals of this trip is attraction of American business to Kazakhstan.
This year, the UN General Assembly session will be devoted to the poverty reduction, promotion of quality education, climate actions and a comprehensive approach.
The President in his speech will present Kazakhstan's perspective regarding the sustainable development, food security, global coverage of health and education services, as well as environment issues.
