Meeting of Speaker Dzhumabekov with Kazakh Parliament Chairman Nigmatulin

Bishkek, Sept.24, 2019. /Kabar/. Within the framework of the Fourth Meeting of Speakers of the Eurasian Parliaments (Kazakhstan), Kyrgyz Parliament’s Speaker Dastanbek Dzhumabekov held a meeting with Chairman of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nigmatulin.
In his speech, the Kyrgyz speaker said he was pleased to meet and exchange views on topical issues of development of friendly relations between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
Dastanbek Dzhumabekov also expressed gratitude for the invitation to take part in the Fourth Meeting of Speakers of Eurasian Parliaments and stressed that Kazakhstan rightly holds this great event, taking into account the active position of the country on the rapprochement of the parliaments of the Eurasian continent.
Further, Speaker Dzhumabekov highlighted the historical role of first President of Kazakhstan, Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev in promoting a global world without nuclear weapons and his initiative in the field of Eurasian integration and dialogue among representatives of different civilizations.
In turn, Kazakhstan’s Nigmatulin reminded that state visit of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Kyrgyzstan is planned in November this year, which will contribute to further strengthening and development of bilateral cooperation.
He noted the positive dynamics of bilateral contacts at all levels, contributing to the activation of relations and the resolution of many issues on priority areas of cooperation.
