Kyrgyz-Turkish Business Forum in Bishkek

Bishkek, Sept. 24, 2019 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov took part today in the Kyrgyz-Turkish business forum in Bishkek.
The head of state noted that Kyrgyzstan and Turkey have developed particularly trusting relationships, as a result of which Kyrgyz-Turkish trade and economic relations are developing at a dynamic pace, his press service said.
Jeenbekov stressed that the parties intend to increase trade between the countries from USD 400 million up to USD 1 billion.
The Kyrgyz-Turkish business forum is held annually. In 2018, a business forum was held as part of the official visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Kyrgyzstan.
Touching upon the opening of the hotel of the famous Sheraton world brand in Kyrgyzstan, Sooronbay Jeenbekov noted that this will positively affect the development of tourism in the country.
