Bishkek, Sept. 25, 2019. / Kabar /. The Eurasian Economic Union has not only taken place, but every year is gaining real strength, becoming an economically independent and competitive association, Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev told during the IV International Forum "Eurasian Week" in Bishkek.
He noted that in the modern world of globalization, the Union was not only able to withstand challenges, but also effectively solves the most complex socio-economic problems.
The prime minister emphasized that the first successful results are already available.
Abylgaziev also stated that the EAEU today is a unique interstate body that is becoming an important key player in the global economy.
"A market with more than 180 million people and a territory of 20 million square kilometers is becoming increasingly attractive, with which more than 50 countries of the world want to have partnerships," he said.
The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) was formed in May 2014. Its member-states are Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
The union was formed aiming at free movement of goods, capital, services and people within the union.
