Italian FM ready to assist in opening Kyrgyz Embassy in Rome

Bishkek, Sept. 25, 2019. / Kabar /. Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Mayo is ready to assist in opening the Kyrgyz Embassy in Rome. This became known during a meeting of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov with his Italian counterpart.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the meeting was held as part of the opening of the General Debate of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
Di Mayo confirmed the readiness of the Italian side to provide maximum assistance in opening the diplomatic mission of Kyrgyzstan in Rome, and also welcomed the decision to open the Honorary Consulate of the Kyrgyz Republic in Naples.
In turn, Aidarbekov noted the importance of the visit of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy Manlio Stefano to Kyrgyzstan in October this year, during which the first political consultations between the foreign affairs agencies of Kyrgyzstan and Italy are expected.
