Activists of Kyrgyz Cultural Center of Uzbekistan demonstrate their skills at festival in Tashkent

Tashkent, Sept.26, 2019. /Kabar/. Activists of the Kyrgyz Republican Cultural Center in Tashkent took part in the Tasanno 2019 (Bravo) regular international festival of national cuisines and cultures.
According to Chairman of the Kyrgyz Republican Cultural Center in Uzbekistan Rahmatullah Jabbarov, this event contributes to the further rapprochement and mutual enrichment of national cultures and traditions, as well as to the strengthening of interethnic relations and inter-religious tolerance among the peoples of the world, including Kyrgyz and Uzbek ones.
At the festival, representatives of the Kyrgyz Center demonstrated their art and skills in cooking national food and drink.
Within the framework of the festival, "When patterns are singing" exhibition of a private entrepreneur, an ethnic Kyrgyz woman living in Tashkent Rasiya Zhumanazarova was presented.
The Selkinchek amateur art ensemble pleased with its concert of the festival participants. The concert program included stage performances of works by famous Kyrgyz writer Chyngyz Aitmatov, performances of an excerpt from the Manas epic, modern Kyrgyz songs, as well as the Kara Zhorgo Kyrgyz dance.
Employees of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Tashkent, headed by Kyrgyz Ambassador Ibrahim Dzhunusov and other heads of foreign diplomatic missions, accredited in Uzbekistan were honorary guests of the festival.
The festival is organized by the Committee on Inter-Ethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with foreign countries under the Government of Uzbekistan and other relevant organizations.
This event has been held regularly in Uzbekistan since 2004.
