Kyrgyz-Chinese border will be temporarily closed from October 1 to 7

Bishkek, Sept. 26, 2019. / Kabar /. At the initiative of the Chinese side, in connection with the celebration of the 70th anniversary of founding of the People’s Republic of China, the two checkpoints Torugart and Irkeshtam on the Kyrgyz-Chinese section of the state border will be temporarily closed, the press service of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Torugart checkpoint will be temporarily closed from Oct. 1 to Oct. 6, 2019 and resume working on Oct. 7, 2019.
Irkeshtam checkpoint will be temporarily closed in the period from Oct. 1 to 3, 2019. The admission of persons, vehicles and goods will resume on Oct. 4, 2019.
