AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstan will hold a role of a leader in the agreement of OPEC and non-OPEC producers on reduction of oil output, Secretary General of the Organization Mohammed Barkindo told at a Thursday plenary session of the 12th KAENERGY Eurasian forum, Vlast.kz reports.
"We've just held a fruitful meeting with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin. I was convinced that Kazakhstan will play a leading role in the declaration on cooperation between the members and non-OPEC members," he said.
The Secretary General said that 24 oil producing countries today stabilized an oil market at the sustainable basis. He claimd that the OPEC will continue seeking for opportunities of joint activities in the field of providing stability of global oil market.
