AKIPRESS.COM - Two sappers injured on September 21 during explosion works at a testing area near Arys were discharged from the hospital, but 8 others stay in hospital, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan reported.
According to the statement, two soldiers returned to their military units but they were exempted from military service until the full rehabilitation.
The sappers underwent military physician board and now doctors are assessing their condition as satisfactory, the Ministry noted.
In terms of the other eight sappers, the statement says their condition is stable and that they should continue treatment.
On September 21, a group of sapper were carrying out scheduled explosive works on the territory of a specially equipped ground in 60 km from the city of Arys. During the works, a blast occured under the explosion hole. The sappers mainly received cutting skin wounds. Ten soldiers were hospitalized, the Ministry reported.
