Azattyk says journalists were attacked in Osh, Osh police say locals complained on privacy breach

AKIPRESS.COM - The journalists of the Azattyk news agency were seized of equipment in Osh, police said.
The incident occurred on September 28. Journalist Ydyrys Isakov and Azattyk cameraman Aibek Kulchumanov were approached by 4 unknown persons who seized their video camera, tripod, and drone equipment during their work. The damage is estimated at $22,700, according to Kulchumanov. After grabbing their equipment, the unknown persons fled the scene on Lexus 330, Kulchumanov said.
Azattyk news agency said that its journalists were attacked. The journalist was hospitalized, the report said.
Locals also appealed to police that a drone was flying over their home and they felt not safe because of it and regarded it as privacy breach. Another local resident said "a drone crushed into their head", but no health injuries were made.
Osh police said that the drone was seized by operative group, all reports were registered for pre-trial investigations.
