Kazakhstan to conduct 3rd national census in 2020

AKIPRESS.COM - The third national census of Kazakhstan is scheduled for October 1-30, 2020, Sputnik Kazakhstan reports. The first and the second censuses were held in 1999 and 2009.
The data will involve geography, demography, economy, education, ethnoculture, migration, disablement, labor activities, employment and income source.
The information will be gathered by 30,000 temporary employees above the age of 18.
Surveys for census of Kazakhstan were made up on the basis of recommendations of the European statisticians on holding censuses and the methodological materials of the interstate statistics committee of the CIS countries.
The statistics committee of the National Economy of Kazakhstan in 2018 was allocated 481.3 million tenge (about $1.5 million, when 330 tenge eaqualed to 1 dollar) for conducting census. The third census will be allocated 3 billion 20 million tenge )about $8 million dolars, $1 = 387 tenge).
