FM of Kazakhstan meets with Secretary General of Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States

AKIPRESS.COM - Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdiyev met with Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of the Turkic Speaking States Bagdad Amreyev, the MFA reports. The talks touched the issues of 7th session of the heads of state of the Turkic Speaking States, which will be held on October 15, 2019 in Baku.
During the talks, Tleuberdi noted that the upcoming summit will become the important event in the history of the organization, which plays an important role as an international organization protecting the interests of the member states.
Amrayev, in his turn, informed about the process of preparation for the summit and the works held on expansion of economic cooperation in the framework of the organization.
The idea of setting up this cooperative council was first put forward by former Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev back in 2006.
