A rally was held against amendments to the Law on Trade Unions in Bishkek.
Related news Parliament passed scandalous bill on Trade Unions in second reading Chairman of the Kyrgyz Mining and Metallurgical Union Eldar Tadzhibaev told 24.kg news agency that the protesters asked the president to veto the scandalous bill.
"About 400 people participated in the rally today. The deputies adopted amendments to the law in the second reading, only editing corrections can be made in the third reading. We hope that the president will veto it. This law violates the Constitution, contradicts the international law," said Eldar Tadzhibaev.
The amendments also do not increase the role of trade unions and do not improve their image.
