AKIPRESS.COM - A citizen of Kazakhstan, who hit the 7yo child in South Korea, was found in Pavlodar, spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Aibek Smadiyarov told a briefing today, Sputnik Kazakhstan said.
"He is in Kazakhstan now. The Korean side has sent documents concerning him, and the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan readdressed these documents to the General Prosecutor's Office. The issue of road accident will be resolved in line with the law between the law enforcement bodies of the countries," Smadiyarov noted.
He reminded that the Kazakh man arrived in Kazakhstan by plane and that he is at his home in Pavlodar now.
The Korean media on September 18 spread the reports that the Kazakh citizen hit the child and fled the scene in the city of Changwon.
The 7yo boy was on his way home from the shop. The car was found in several km from the scene. According to police, the suspect flew away from the airport on the next day after the road accident.
The child was diagnosed brain hemorrhage and multuple traumas. He underwent surgery. Now he is in a critical condition.
