Shadow economy decreased to 23.6% in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The size of the shadow economy in Kyrgyzstan is currently 23.6%, while experts estimate it at about 30-40%, said Deputy Minister of Economy Avtandil Alybaev citing the National Statistics Committee.
The shadow economy was decreased from 24.5% to 23.6%, he said.
MP Taalaibek Masabirov suggested to return the functions of collection of excise tax to the State Tax Service from the Ministry of Agriculture.
