Kyrgyzstan's budget for 2018 executed with deficit of 6.4 billion soms

The state budget of Kyrgyzstan for 2018 was executed with a deficit of 6,453 billion soms with a planned deficit of 12,606 billion soms. Department of the Committee on Budget and Finances of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan reports.
At least 23 billion soms have been spent on servicing external and internal debts.
Securities for 9 billion soms have been issued in order to cover the deficit of the republican budget.
"The Government should work not only with commercial banks, but also with the population in the field of securities. In addition, change of the approved figures at the end of the year are not a positive indicator. For example, the approved amount under capital investments item has changed at the end of the year. We talk about it every year, but, unfortunately, it is not fulfilled," added Ulan Maripov, Chairman of the Accounts Chamber.
The total volume of revenues of the republican budget for 2018 amounted to 135,504 billion soms.
