Mumps incidence growing in 3 districts of Chui region

AKIPRESS.COM - 30,840 infectious and parasitogenic diseases have been registered in Chui region over the last 9 months of 2019, Chairman of the Issyk-Ata Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Akylbek Isayev said. Mumps incidence is growing in Sokuluk, Alamedin and Moscow districts of Chui region within 9 months of 2019, he noted.
According to him, 34 specific diseases, including acute respiratory viral infection and flu were recorded.
The growth of measles is observed this year compared to the last year. 442 cases of measles were registered, which is 106 cases more than the previous year, Isayev noted.
