Cost of customs clearance of vehicles to grow 10 times in Kyrgyzstan

Cost of customs clearance of vehicles imported into Kyrgyzstan from third countries will rise 10 times from January 1, 2020.
The State Customs Service recalls that preferential rates of customs duties for vehicles imported by individuals for personal use from third countries expire on December 31, 2019.
Tariffs approved by the decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission in December 2017 will come in force from January 1, 2020.
"It is recommended to plan import routes of vehicles from third countries for personal use in advance. According to Article 53 of the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union, customs duty rates are applied on the day the customs body registers a customs declaration," the State Customs Service stressed.
