Online cash register project pilot launched in Kyrgyzstan since Sept 1

AKIPRESS.COM - Online cash register project was pilot launched in Kyrgyzstan since Sept 1, according to the Economy Ministry.
The amendments to the Tax Code introducing the concept of virtual cash register were made on 13 April 2018, the Ministry reminds. The objective of the law is using smartphones or computers along with the hardware cash register machines.
The project tests the economic and technical efficiency of using the technology of real-time information transfer on monetary transactions made with the use of online cash register machines.
Introduction of the online cash register machines (software apps for Android, iOS and Windows operating systems) is under way, the statement said.
During the test mode of the project, operators of the online cash registers and tax authorities will be provided with virtual cash registers free of charge.
