AKIPRESS.COM - Members of the state commission to investigate the Koi-Tash events of August 7-8 held a closed session on October 10.
The government said October 10 that it was decided to extend the commission's woks until November 1 at the suggestion of a number of commission members.
Koi-Tash events saw storming of ex-President Almazbek Atambayev's house to detain him. The first storming by SWAT soldiers on August 7 left dozens injured and 1 national security task force officer dead. The second storming by Interior Ministry police on August 8 ended with Atambayev's arrest.
