Pre-trial hearing on crime boss Batukayev case postponed to October 14

AKIPRESS.COM - The pre-trial hearing on the case of crime boss Aziz Batukayev was canceled to October 14, the press service of the Supreme Court said. On October 3, the Pervomaysky district court of Bishke received a criminal case against Almazbek Atambayev, Indira Joldubayeva, Abduhalim Raimjanov and Kalybek Kachkynaliyev, who are accused of corruption.
The chairman of the Pervomaysky district court handed over the case to court Emilbek Kaipov on October 4.
On October 7, the court scheduled a pre-trial hearing on the case.
In accordance with the criminal code of the country, the pre-trial hearing of the case is held behind closed doors with participation of the sides.
On October 11, the pre-trial hearing was postponed until October 14 due to the no-show of Almazbek Atambayev. He denied to come to the pre-trial hearing.
