Arabian sheikhs allowed to hunt for houbara bustard in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Authorities of Kazakhstan issued a permit to 4 sheikhs of the United Arab Emirates and Qatar to hunt for houbara bustards on the territory of the country in October-November 2019. According to the decree signed by Prime Minister Askar Mamin, the sheikhs are given the opportunity to obtain more than 270 species. During the hunting, they can use their own falcons.
The sheikhs will have to pay 656,600 tenge ($1,700) to the budget of Kazakhstan for each birds they kill.
