Electronic data base on environmnetal pollution to appear next year in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The electronic data base on environmental pollution will appear in Kazakhstan in 2020, Kazinform reported.
Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources Magzum Mirzagaliyev told about this at the plenary session today while presenting the draft law on ratification of the protocol on emission register and switchover to electronic format.
According to him, the volume of contaminating materials in the country last year amounted to 2.5 million tons.
A mobile application Aair.kz has been launched in the country, the Minister said.
This tool allows to provide certain reports to the population about the pollution.
After ratification of the protocol, the process of providing reports will be automated, Mirzagaliyev noted.
