Kazakh-Uzbek border demarcation commission meets in Almaty

AKIPRESS.COM - A regular session of the governmental delegations of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan on border demarcation was held in Almaty on October 14-18, the Kazakh MFA reported.
The sides prepared draft documents of demarcation of the state border area between Mangistau region of Kazakhstan and Karakalpakstan region of Uzbekistan.
The delegations signed the draft protocols on border signs consisting of 160 boundary pillars, catalogue of co-ordinates and altitudes of these border pillars.
The talks were held in friendly and constructive atmosphere.
