9.3 million soms or less than a third of the required funds is allocated to mental health care in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The State Mental Health Care Program until 2030 requires 242.9 million soms, the Executive Director of the Public Foundation "Socium" Batma Estebesova said at the budget hearings in the Parliament on October 18.
The state can allocate 9.3 million soms, which is less than a third of the necessary funds.
"Today, mental illnesses such as depression, suicide and various other psychiatric diseases require 242.9 million soms," she said.
