Kyrgyzstan has its first ever medal from world sumo championship

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz athlete Aibek Kasmanbetov from the Konorchok village of Ak-Talaa district of the Naryn region won first ever medal at the sumo championship, Turmush reports. The tournament was held in Osaka, Japan on Oct 13-14. Kasmanbetov won bronze medal in men's 115 kg.
The athlete was welcomed by mayor Marat Kudaibergenov, vice-mayor Akisher Tabaldiyev, head of committee for sports K.Davletov and locals.
