Supporters of public figure Arstan Alai asks authorities to launch criminal probes against them too

AKIPRESS.COM - On October 18, a criminal probe has been launched into the public speech of Arstan Alai (Abdyldayev) after he proclaimed himself as "a new God", the press service of the Bishkek police department said.
Pre-trial proceedings were launched into incitement to racial, ethnic, national, religious or regional hatred.
On October 23, his supporters gathered a press conference criticizing law enforcement bodies for probing Abdyldayev.
"We are the Gods, let's probe us too. If they can't probe us, then they must probe those who launched criminal probe against f Arstan Alai. We demand Tengrianism to be registered as a religion," they said.
