Kazakhstan, Belarus to sign agreements for $75 million

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 15 agreements worth more than $75 million will be signed by participants of the business forum under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar and the First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported with reference to country manager of the KAZAKH INVEST national company Bakhtybek Kabzhanov.
"More than 200 businessmen from Kazakhstan and Belarus gathered in the forum. Signing of 15 documents for more than $75 million is expected," he said.
The promising projects are agricultural engineering, agro-industrial complex, light industry, food industry and a pharmacy, according to him.
The talks are being held with such companies of Belarus as the Minsk Tractor Works, BELAZ holding, the Minsk Medical Products Plant.
