Tajik Ambassador meets with chairman of economic cooperation and development committee of German’s Bundestag

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ambassador of Tajikistan in Germany Sohibnazar Gayratsho met with Chairman of the Committee for Economic Cooperation and Development of the German Bundestag Peter Ramsauer on Oct 22 in Berlin in the run-up to the forthcoming government consultations between Tajikistan and Germany, the Foreign Ministry reports.
The Ambassador named the projects conducted by the Federal Government in Tajikistan as a good example of development cooperation between the countries and stressed that the continuation of this partnership would support Tajikistan in improving social infrastructure and optimizing value chains.
Peter Ramsauer stated that creation of school and medical facilities, hydropower plants and other social infrastructure indicate that Tajikistan is on the road to sustainable development.
Ramsauer welcomed the Ambassador's request for assistance in organizing economic forums and establishing direct contacts between Tajik business circles and the Bavarian constituency.
