Nazarbayev holds telephone talks with ex-King of Spain upon arrival of Rafael Nadal

AKIPRESS.COM - The First President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, met with Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal on October 24, the former President's spokesman Aidos Ukibai told on Twitter.
During the meeting, Nadal organized the informal telephone talks with Nazarbayev and the former monarch of Spain.
The talks were arranged spontaneously at the meeting of Nadal and Nazarbayev ahead of the charitable match in Nur-Sultan, the spokesman says.
"Prior to the tennis match, Rafael Nadal handed over warm greetings from the former King of Spain Juan Carlos I to Nursultan Nazarbayev. The Yelbasy thanked the tennis player and asked Rafael to say hello to his friend," the post says.
Nur-Sultan hosted a charitable match of the tennis stars Novak Djokovich and Rafael Nadal, who arrived in the country on one-day visit.
The charitable exhibition match was attended by Nazarbayev, Chairman of the Tennis Federation of Kazakhstan Bulat Utemuratov and Chairman of the Mazhilis Nurlan Nigmatulin.
