British man arrested in Almaty after beating his 1.5yo daughter to death

AKIPRESS.COM - A 41-year-old citizen of the UK was detained in Almaty after beating up his 1.5-year old daughter to death, zakon.kz reports with reference to the specialized district court of the city.
The suspect reportedly killed the baby at the InterContinental hotel on October 24. The girl died of clinical death in the hospital. All attempts of doctors to save the child failed due to severe traumas.
The man was taken into custody for 2 months. The man faces up to 15 years in prison, if his guilt is proven.
