56.7 thousand tons of pollutants emitted in Kyrgyzstan in 2018

AKIPRESS.COM - Emissions of pollutants into the air from 179 controlled stationary sources amounted to 56.7 thousand tons in Kyrgyzstan in 2018, according to the data of the National Statistics Committee.
Almost a half of all air pollutants (42.7%) emitted in Bishkek.
Pollutant emissions in the Issyk-Kul region amounted to 2.3 thousand tons in 2018.
Emissions per square kilometer in Kyrgyzstan as a whole amounted to 283.6 kg and emissions per capita - 9.3 kg.
