Chui region hosts trainings on social services

AKIPRESS.COM - Child Rights Defenders' League public fund conducted a number of training sessions for representatives of the social development department, leading specialists in social issues of village councils and social workers of Issyk-Ata and Sokuluk regions on Oct 28-30. According to the fund, assistance was provided by the Labor Ministry and government of the Chui region. The event was held on the recommendations of the president on the reform of boarding schools in order to preserve the child in a family environment.
The evaluation aspects of the child's prosperity, the protective factors of family, their evaluation and child protection policy were discussed at the trainings.
The special focus was paid to the measures for creation of ‘foster family' service. The experts from the Moldova conducted trainings within the project "Creation of advantageous family environment for children of Kyrgyzstan".
