'Patrol service introduced in 2016 did not achieve goals' - Interior Minister

AKIPRESS.COM - The patrol service introduced in 2018 did not achieved the goals, said Interior Minister Kashkar Junushaliyev during the launching ceremony of new police patrol service and opening ceremony of Digitalized command center of Interior Ministry on Oct 31. Junushaliyev added that the police patrol service will work in Pervomai and Sverdlovsk districts at first.
"To date, the patrol service was allocated funds. 197 million soms well be spenst for officers wages and other needs, the total amount of funds reached 387 million soms," said Junushaliyev.
The minister added that the project envisages the decrease of crimes, establishment of public order and increasing of confidence in law enforcement agencies.
