Taxi driver whose body was found in car boot in Bishkek was killed by inmates serving their jail terms

AKIPRESS.COM - The suspects of murder of a taxi driver, whose body was found in a car boot at the parking lot of the airport Manas, have been detained, the Interior Ministry said.
A 39-year-old tax driver was found dead after he went missing on October 22. He reportedly had a large sum of money with him on the day of his murder.
On October 22, he left his home on his Honda Accord and went missing. His disappearance was reported by his brother. Police found the car of the victim at the airport's parking lot with the victim's body in the boot.
Criminal probe into murder was launched.
As part of the investigation, a number of events was carried out on the territory of Talas, Issyk-Kul, Chuy, Osh regions and Bishkek and Osh cities.
2 suspects were arrested: a 27-year-old native of Chuy region with previous criminal record including robbery and rape; and 32-year-old native of Osh region with previous criminal record including smuggling and drugs. One of the suspects is serving his jail term in the penal colony.
Additionally, a 28-year-old accomplice to the crime was identified, measures are being taken to arrest him.
"Violent murder was committed by persons serving their sentences penal colonies. These persons managed to commit a particularly serious crime because of the management uncontrollability of the State Penitentiary Service institutions," said the Interior Ministry.
