AKIPRESS.COM - The price for coal in Kazakhstan increased by 100% from 2015, Tengrinews.kz reports. Chairman of the committee on regulation of the natural monopoly of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan Asan Darbayev told about unregulated factors that affect the process of tariff establishment in the sphere of the housing and public utilities.
In electricity and heat supply a lion's share falls to coal, masut and gas, according to him. The coal and masut are in a competitive sphere. There are no direct regulations from government here.
"Gas is a competency in the energy sphere. We have some observations, that say that coal price from 2015 increased about by 100%. the gas price grew by about 14%, masut - by about 25%," he said.
